LSA Verification Data Notice

To earn the Himam Verified badge, we check your identity, right to work, conduct and credentials. This notice explains what we collect for that, who sees it and when we delete it. It adds to our Privacy Policy.
What we collect and why

Sensitive data and consent
A police clearance reveals criminal-record information, which is sensitive personal data under the PDPL. We ask for your explicit consent before you upload it. Families and schools see only the Himam Verified badge, never the document itself.
Our legal grounds
Your explicit consent for sensitive documents, and our contract with you for running your profile and bookings (PDPL Article 4).
Storage
Documents are stored encrypted with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Mumbai (ap-south-1), India, under the transfer safeguards in Privacy Policy s.7. Access is logged and limited to named verification staff.
Renewal
The badge lasts 12 months. We will ask for fresh documents at renewal and delete the old ones.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your documents and withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@himamheros.ae. Withdrawing consent removes the Himam Verified badge. All other rights in Privacy Policy s.9 apply.
