Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Himam Heros FZ-LLC collects, uses, stores and protects personal data, in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL).
What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone), role (parent, school, LSA), and the minimum information needed to match support — such as a child's general support need, emirate and budget. We practise data minimisation and do not require full medical reports.
Legal basis & consent
We process data based on your consent, given when you register. For children under 13, processing requires verifiable parental consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Sensitive data
Information about a child's disability or health is treated as sensitive personal data: stored with extra safeguards, never used for advertising or profiling, and never shared with third parties without explicit consent.
Your rights
You may access and download your data, correct it, delete your account, and withdraw consent. Contact our data team using the details below to exercise these rights.
Storage, retention & security
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Our database is currently hosted in the closest available cloud region (South Asia) and we will migrate to a UAE/GCC region once available; any cross-border transfer is disclosed here and protected by appropriate safeguards and your consent. We keep active-account data while your account is open, delete inactive accounts after 2 years, and retain booking and payment records for 5 years as required by law.
Breach notification
In the event of a data breach affecting your data, we will notify the UAE Data Office and affected users promptly.
